Web Design
I have been building websites and web applications for over 6 years. I undertook a course when I was at college in IT (the equivalent of 2 A levels) which included image manipulation and web design. I have recently completed a CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) course.
There are three steps to building a successful site:
Web Design is the first step, designing your site in Adobe Photoshop to provide mock ups which can easily be edited and allows a great deal of flexibility.
Web Development is the second step, the trasition between a concept on paper and building a foundation on which your site will be coded, the functions built which your users experience but never see. I am experience in different programming languages, including ASP, PHP, Javascript & AJAX.
Search Engine Optimisation is the third, final, and most important step of building your site. There’s no point in having the best site in the world if end users can’t find it. SEO is the difference between you and a competitor doing business.
